156 - 520/521 a R7 NGC AU53 BN An unusually high grade example, a bit unevenly struck as often seen on this variety. Liberty 1860 Copper Mine Token. Crude Escherich token often seen uneven, clipped with marks and scratches. This is much better than average. A raw VF slightly porous with uneven strike and light marks brought $525 in our July 2012 auction. From the John J. Ford collection Stack's Bowers August 2013 where it realized $763.75. The Ford pedigree is noted on the NGC holder. (500-750)
