93 - 146/184 j R8 PCGS MS63 40% Bright but poorly struck at centers as often seen with this composition. Ambrose Burnside 1864 with very popular Hunting Dogs struck in German Silver. A fascinating reverse die so much so that the late Civil War token dealer Bret Palser literally made it his calling card. From the Dave Bowers collection. Called 146/283 j on PCGS holder. Data: 200°, 34 grains, 20.1 mm. (2000-3000)
