97 - 140/187 g R9 Raw AU 30% Bright with planchet flaw, mushy strike and a Reeded edge. Much nicer than usual for this Lead token. Unusual muling of Little Mack and Time is Money, all of this die combination are most likely circulating contemporary counterfeits. The reverse die is rare in the Patriotic series only seen on this and the more available 187/214 g, also likely circulating contemporary counterfeit. Very rare variety, one of just three we have seen offered. From the Bill Kelly and Ed Rosen collections from our June 2005 sale where it realized $360.80. (400-500)
