78 - Civil War Soldiers ID Tag Raw EF+ Holed for suspension. Abraham Lincoln President US War Of 1861 (around bust right signed F. B. Smith) with Thomas Dodman New York City. Batt. E. 2d. Art. Pa. Vols. punched into the blank reverse. Listed as stock tag Lincoln 6A in Maier and Stahl's book on Identification Discs of Union Soldiers in the Civil War and called Rare by type. Gilt Brass 30mm with 20% or so of original Gilt remaining. (1000-1500)
