35 - 116/129 a R9 NGC MS64 RB 50% Red Rare 1864 Abraham Lincoln / George Washington double header struck in Copper. We have sold a number of the R8 White Metal variety over the years but this is the first Copper example we have had the pleasure of offering. A raw AU+ example in White Metal sold for $800 in our January 2015 sale. From the Mark Glazer collection earlier from the Paul Ginther collection of Lincolnia. (1500-2000)
