17 - 57B/57B a R10 NGC AU55 BN Single die double header with brockage of Ratterman Cincinnati Ohio store card obverse. Aside from being a Unique Patriotic die this is an absolutely fascinating mint error first described by Jack Detwiler in the 1970 Fall issue of the Civil War Token Society Journal. The more normally struck side is double struck with a slight shift visible on all feathers, stars and date. The other side has a boldly struck Indian Head from the same die with an incused image of the obverse of Cincinnati Ohio Store Card of H. A. Ratterman, the visual effect is simply stunning.
