712 - Norse American Centennial Medal 1925 PCGS MS64 With light toning and nice luster. North American Centennial 1825 1925 Authorized by Congress of the United States of America, A.D. 1000. Struck at the US Mint in Philadelphia these were designed by James Earle Fraser of Buffalo Nickel fame and signed Opus Fraser on the reverse. This Thin planchet variety was the first struck and the scarcer of the two thicknesses with just 6,000 originally struck. From the Bob Miller collection. (500-750)
