202 - MI450I-1b R10 NGC MS62 BN 20% Bright and definitely Brass though holder calls MI450I-1a. D. H. Lord & Co., Hillsdale Michigan struck in Brass and Unique as such. Very rare obverse die featuring oval denticles, unique in the Gleason series. This is the discovery token and was likely labeled Copper by NGC since at that point it was the only composition listed in the standard reference. An important new discovery. From the Wayne Stafford collection earlier from Heritage's April 2013 sale. (2000-3000)
