105 - IN680A-1a R8 MS63 Trace Red all on the obverse. J. F. Larwell Watch Marker, New Albany Indiana stuck in Copper. Rare maverick merchant previously listed under Cincinnati as OH165DA while current research indicates the token was issued by Watchmaker John F. Larwill from New Albany Indiana. Note spelling error in name as compared to City Directory, Tax and Census records. An AU+ example sold for $2,287.50 in our March 2008 sale. From the Dave Bowers and Joe Kuehnert collections earlier from Rossa and Tanenbaum July 1998 and PCAC's December 1987 sale. (3000-4000)
