137 - IL535B-1a R9 FINE Or better but dark and quite porous. Smith's Billiard Saloon 5 Cts. 1863. Formerly listed as SNL-3a, this will be listed under Macomb in the new Store Card book. Believed to be issued by Richard W. Smith of Macomb, Illinois who is found in the 1864 IL Gazetteer as a saloonkeeper. A porous VF with light marks brought $1,950 in our December 2012 sale.
