167 - MI250F-2a R8 MS64 20% Red and attractively toned. G. A. Wheelock Provisions, Dowagiac Michigan. Very rare merchant, one of just ten examples from this merchant, and only the third of this variety, we have seen offered. An AU+ of the more available -1a variety with light stains brought $615 in our June 2011 sale. From the Steve Tanenbaum, Dennis Wierzba, John Canfield and George Fuld collections. This is the Fuld Plate Specimen. In a NGC holder graded MS64. (2000-3000) See Picture.
