49 - 147/227 fp R6 MS63 40% Bright with attractive obverse toning and full silvering. Popular Am we Ready 1861 pilgrim token. This plated version has been removed from the current book and replaced by a footnote. This is the normal composition for this die combination, over 60% by our count. It is very hard to find a Brass example that isn't very worn or still has traces of silvering. An AU+ with less than full silvering brought $951 in our July 2012 sale.
