Description
Civil War token Fuld OH165CZ-2fp R2 (unlisted with Silver plating which appears to be original) AU+ with some original luster and nicely toned. Good For 25 Cents In Cigars Or Tobacco At Lanphear’s 133 Vine St. with blank reverse as issued. Struck on a thin Brass planchet similar to that used for many Sutler token but unusual for regular Store Cards. Much scarcer than the smaller -1b Five Cent variety. From the Henry South collection earlier from Charles Kirtly December 1989. (50-75)
