621 - Bolen JAB-35 Silver Raw MS65 Nicely toned and Proof Like. Marked on edge by Bolen himself "SILVER ONE STRUCK ONLY" J. A. Bolen 1869 Die Sinker & C. Springfield Mass struck in Silver 25.4mm on a 2.25mm thick planchet. Unique with the best possible pedigree for a Bolen token. This lot comes with an old coin envelope marked, presumably in Bolen's own handwriting, "This is my last card and is the most correct likeness. J. A. Bolen." From the Steve Tanenbaum and J. A. Bolen collections, earlier from Bowers & Merena's September 1992 auction where is sold for $770. (1500-2000)
