815 - MILLER PA 327 AU William W. Long Shuffle Board, Billiards & Bowling, Philadelphia stuck in Copper with Plain edge. A very interesting token with rebus spelling out Brilliant across the reverse. This merchant comes with two different obverse and reverse die. This is the obverse pictured in Rulau while the other die has a period after Long and the right compass point points to the S in St. This is the unlisted second reverse without a period after Hotel and Bowling and no space between Bagatelle&Shuffle. While we have known of the different dies for some time this is the first instance we have noted of the pairing of a listed and unlisted die. From the Richard Crosby collection. (75-100)
